1. Who we are and acceptance

Hoardr is operated by Giganto Studio, a business registered in Australia (ABN 64 415 778 118). In these terms, "Hoardr", "we" and "us" mean Giganto Studio, and "you" means the person using the app. By creating an account or using Hoardr you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Hoardr is a collection manager that lets you catalogue physical items with photos, condition, values and other details, then search, sort, export and share them. It runs as a website and installable web app. We may add, change or remove features over time as the product develops.

3. Your account

You need an account to store a collection. You are responsible for keeping your sign in details secure and for activity under your account. Give accurate contact details so we can reach you about your account and billing. One account is for one person; do not share your login. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to hold a paid subscription.

4. Acceptable use

Use Hoardr for cataloguing your own collection and lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content and ownership

Your collection records and photos are yours. You keep all rights in them. To run the service, you give us the limited permission we need to store, back up, process and display that content to you, and to show it on a public share page only when you choose to publish one. You are responsible for having the right to upload the photos and information you add.

We do not sell your content and we do not use it to advertise to you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and who processes it on our behalf.

6. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Hoardr is free to use with some limits. Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks the paid features. Current pricing is shown in the app at the point of purchase. At the time of writing Pro is offered at A$6.99 per month or A$49.99 per year.

Free trial

Pro may be offered with a 7 day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription and your payment method is charged for the plan you chose.

Renewal and payment

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may pause Pro features until payment succeeds.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices. If we do, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will give you reasonable notice beforehand so you can decide whether to continue.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app or the billing portal. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. Cancelling during a free trial stops it converting, so you are not charged.

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refundable for the unused part of a period. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including any right to a remedy where a service is not supplied with due care or as described.

8. Free plan and limits

The free plan includes generous limits on the number of items and collections and on some features. These limits are shown in the app and may change over time. If you are on the free plan and reach a limit, we do not delete or hide anything you have already saved; we simply ask you to upgrade before adding more. You can always export your data, on any plan.

9. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence, for example estimating a market value, identifying an item from a photo, tidying notes, or reading a spreadsheet or list to help you import it. These features are automated and are provided to help you, not to give professional advice.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. In particular, a value estimate is an automated guess based on information the AI finds; it is not an appraisal, a valuation, or financial, insurance or investment advice, and it is not a promise of what an item will sell for. Always check important figures yourself, and get professional advice where it matters, for example for insurance cover. You decide what to keep, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of your records.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Hoardr available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will act reasonably about it.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Hoardr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error free, that estimates or identifications will be accurate, or that the service will meet every requirement. Some guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded; nothing here tries to exclude them.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied, and in any case to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Keep your own backups of anything important; the export and backup tools are there for this.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Hoardr at any time and delete your account from within the app, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. If we close your account other than for a breach, we will give you a reasonable chance to export your data first.

14. Third party services

Hoardr relies on a small number of third party providers to operate, including Google Firebase for authentication, database and storage, Stripe for payments, and Google's Gemini API for the AI features. Your use of those parts of the service is also subject to those providers' terms, and the Privacy Policy lists what each one receives.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law change. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Hoardr after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state, without limiting any right you have to bring a matter in your own place of residence under consumer law.
